Itinerary in details
Day 01: Sapa – Y linh Ho – Lao Chai (L, D)
Hiking begins around 9 a.m from Sapa., departure with local guide for the discovery of fabulous mountain landscapes.
Arrive at the bottom of the Muong Hoa valley, where you’ll enjoy superb panoramic views of the famous Hoang Lien mountain range.
Visit the wilderness of the Black Hmong and Dzay tribes…
Lunch in a local restaurant, cross rice terraces, small paths leading to Black Hmong villages, dinner and overnight stay in Amica House and enjoy dinner
Day 01 AMICA HOUSE – LAO CHAI – SAN–AMICA HOUSE (B, L) 5h walk
08:30 – Departure with English-speaking guide for second day of hiking
Heading to village of Lao Chai San from Amica House, dominated by black H’mong people for centuries. They grow corn, rice and flax…. on the steep slopes.
You’ll see small wooden houses and domestic animals nearby, and get an in-depth insight into the habits and customs of the Black Hmong ethnic group.
The trek continues through the many small villages, where you can visit some of the Hmong houses and learn about their way of life and their brocatelle weaving workshops.
Note: For Hmong women, weaving is a trade closely linked to the passage to adulthood. Before getting married, all Hmong girls must know how to weave so that the bride-to-be can create her own dress in the months leading up to the ceremony.
Lunch in a local restaurant, then back by a easy track to the village of Lao Chai, with a crossing of terraced rice fields and small paths.
End of tour at Lao Chai village. You can book homestay to saty more in Lao Chai or you can go to Sapa by taxi ( you pay your self )
